As a high-performance nickel-chromium-boron-silicon (Ni-Cr-B-Si) self-fluxing alloy powder, Ni60A plays a key role in industrial surface strengthening and repair. Moreover, it has a melting point of around 1080℃. Even at high temperatures, it maintains stable chemical and physical properties, along with excellent corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and high-temperature oxidation resistance—making it suitable for harsh working conditions. Additionally, this powder offers great self-fluxing and wettability. During spraying, it forms a strong metallurgical bonding layer with the substrate. This reduces pores and inclusions while boosting coating density and bonding strength. Notably, it works particularly well for oxyacetylene spray welding (flame spray welding) and induction remelting processes. As a result, it is widely used for surface strengthening and repair of mechanical parts, molds, valves, oil drilling tools, and more.
Compared with ordinary spray materials, it has three key advantages:
- Excellent self-fluxing: During spraying/remelting, it melts and spreads fully, reducing unmelted particles and improving coating quality;
- High mirror brightness: The workpiece surface has good finish, which reduces the need for subsequent machining and cuts costs;
- Clean molten pool & dense coating: The coating has fewer internal defects, leading to better corrosion and wear resistance.
Furthermore, this powder excels in spray deposition efficiency, bonding strength, and wear life—earning wide recognition from customers.
Its core application areas include:
- Mold repair and strengthening: Repairs wear-prone parts of stamping molds, injection molds, and die-casting molds to extend service life;
- Valves and seals: Strengthens the sealing surfaces of ball valves, gate valves, etc., to enhance corrosion and wear resistance;
- Oil and mining machinery: Protects drill pipes, pump shafts, and screw conveyor blades to reduce abrasion loss;
- Aerospace and energy equipment: Used on high-temperature components such as turbine blades and combustion chambers to improve oxidation resistance and heat resistance.
